Caught My Love

by
Randy L. Redmond
Source:
Tears rolling down the heartstring p. 37

I just realized it would be you
The way you make me feel alive
The times you shake up the potion
That kind of spell which caught my love

I will finally share what you knew
The care you gave me all along
The dreams you bring to our new life
Which opens my mind and caught my love

Bite your lip
Flirting smile
Throw a kiss
Caught my love

See your face
Crying eyes
Drop a tear
Caught my love

I held your hand on a cold night
The warmth still there when we awoke
The smile on your face still shines
That look of trust which caught my love

I felt your heart beating in my hands
The sound races as you breathe deeper
The sigh in your voice quite soft
Which warms my lips and caught my love

Old bones still hurt, can't feel no more
Don't cry my child, long road to come
Young one, more food
Cus old child, no home

Weak heart still breaks, don't care walk by
Can't stop rich man, long look no dime
Good one, more drink
Cus old child, no home
