------------------------------------------ Textured Picture by Katie Davis Steward Source: The Beginning of the Tumbling (2004) p. 10 There is a cross-stitched picture on the wall, to the left of my desk, It is always in my view to see, ponder at, or even, just stare blankly. It is a simple picture, but not trite Just two empty wooden chairs on a deck facing the The chairs look to each other conversationally. When I choose to search this picture, I can almost clearly see the two of us. we chatter in our umbilical speech and smile often. Neither of us own this type of chair, but we have sat in many if them throughout the years. sometimes, it's all the farther we want or can be from each other. --------------------------------------------- Copyright (c) by Katie Steward.
