What kind of press releases do we accept? a. Book/Film/ Music/Food/Art Festivals Announcements (submit one month before the book festival event happens) b. Book Readings Announcements (submit one month before the book reading event happens) c. Author Signing Events ( Submit one month before the author signing event happens) d. Awards/ Award Ceremonies: (Past events can be submitted within one month after the book/film/music award ceremonies.) e. Obituaries of artists. (actors, musicians, poets, writers, etc.) Note: Past events can be submitted within one month after the event has happened. III. Free (Book/CD/DVD) Ads/ Announcements a. Press Release Format Press Releases must have the following: a. photo attachments b. date of release (ex. Monday, Sept 17, 2007) c. place of release (ex. San Jose, California) d. name of person and position (ex. Andrew Angus, Publicist) e. Name of company (releasing the press release) (ex. Muses Review) f. 200 word news (ex. place where the event was/to be held, number of participants, type of event (casual, formal, etc.), ticket price, type of clothes to be worn, any food/drinks bar, company sponsors, attending VIPs, etc.) g. News links. (ex. www.musesreview.org) Note: All submitted press releases must be accompanied by photos. Otherwise, we will not accept your press releases. VI.
