The Beauty of Nature
When I behold the beauty of nature
I see a total and perfect sculpture
As I look into the field to view the race
I see the stallion prancing with grace
When I look up the skies with my face
The clouds wear the rainbow as a lace
And as I pry the earth beneath to behold
What a precious things as silver and gold!
The singing of the birds sweetly in me ears Drives away all covert and overt fears
And the sight of beautiful flowers
Blows up my mind above the towers
Nature, perfection of inner and outer beauty
So natural a beauty throughout eternity
