LOVE LETTERS

Source:
Captivated In the Heart of Love & Romance

He wrote me love letters
To sweep me off my feet
Of places he would take me
Or erotic magic when we meet
I'd wait for Mr. Postman
And a letter from my man
How he would kiss me softly
And touch me with his hands
I'd write back to him
Loving thoughts of what I missed
I'd write about tomorrow
And anticipate that next kiss
He would use little phrases
Like "Pounding rod in a hurry"
I'd smile as I read them
The answered back--not to worry
I'd save each love letter
My man was really quite a flirt
Tucked away in a special box
With his worn out welding shirt
Whenever I did miss him
I'd read them one by one
A romance by little letters
Until the job was done
Then, when he did return
Two hearts were set on fire
And not a word was spoken
Who knows what hearts desire
It started with love letters
He swept me off my feet
All places create a magic
Erotic moments when we meet

A RHYME FOR RAP

Source:
Captivated In the Heart of Love and Romance (2005)

I had a premonition
That I'd get recognition
When I made the decision
To exercise my ambition
I taunted and I teased
I prompted and I pleased
I got down on my knees
To give you what you need
Now that I got your attention
There's one thing I should mention
I can erase all your tension
If you just give me affection
So please make a decision
And use your own ambition
Love is only a condition
Of emotional addiction

LOVE IN SEASONS

Source:
Captivated In the Heart Of Love And Romance, (2005) , p.

In the springtime
we shared new beginnings
Searching the rivers
For cattails and fragrant flowers
Camping in the outdoors
The river's song was ours
Under the pale moonlight
Beneath the cottonwood trees
You kissed me
And held me
Then set my heart free
Summer would bring us
Golden wheat-fields and sunflowers
Then we'd sit and just talk
For hours upon hours
The meadowlark would sing
His joyous melody
As we made intimate moves
Together in sweet harmony
In the fall we would go
For a drive to see the view
Or an array of multiple colors
Posing on for me and you
Sometimes we would stop
In an open field for romance
Whispering softly I love you
With a warm-hearted glance
In the wintertime
The cold winds would blow
Then we would cuddle close
And wait for the winter snow
Tis the time for dreaming
Love is always in season
For passion and romance
You never need a reason

What inspired Anne  to write this poem "Love Letters":  My husband traveled alot when we first met, and we  would write letters back and forth.  I would tell him how things were going for me and my son, and then I would wander off into fantasy land and tell him how much I loved him.  Before we knew it, we wrote love letters back and forth.  Our friendship grew into passion and romance over the years, and when he came back home again we couldn't wait to be in each other's arms.  He made my dream come true and I was a millenium bride with a beautiful Las Vegas Wedding on Jan 1, 2005.  To this day, Zane still creates a fantasy for me whenever he is away, and when he returns home; romance sparks like the first time we were together as one.  I hope that we will always feel that way about one another as he now drives over the road again as a Truck Driver.

What inspired Anne  to write this poem "Love In Seasons" :    I wrote this poem to bring out the beauty of nature in all the seasons, and also the inimacy of love and romance.  I hope it enhances your senses of love, feelings, and the beauty of nature as the seasons change from year to year.  Who doesn't like to go for a long drive with the one they love, take a camping trip, or simply cuddle together by the fireplace.  Time is precious and so are the moments.  Try to make each one special!
